Crisis 911

Crisis 911Outline
New Oracle Section

Managing Editor

In trying to come up with a section name for the many articles related to the September 11, 2001 disaster, I looked up the meanings for "Crisis" and found that they seemed to fit the situation.  Then when I was editing the articles, the same word kept coming up -- as well as "911", the date of the event, the call for help line, and many other associated meanings.

"Crisis":  the decisive moment;  the crucial time or state of affairs in which a decisive change is impending;  a situation that has reached a critical phase.  All these seem quite appropriate to the event.

Thus, a new section was created and called "Crisis 911", along with this lead-in article about the section -- and it's listing and linkage on the cover page of the Oracle.
